The Whistler Longboard Festival

Whistler BC - Arbor Skateboards is proud to present the·Whistler Longboard Festival at the Whistler Sliding Centre on the base of Blackcomb Mountain. Set right next the Olympic Luge Track on the access road, this 2 Day Skateboard Race weekend is set for·June 25th and 26th 2011.A highly technical 1 mile race track drops over 1000 feet as riders fly through SEVEN 180 degree hairpins and a total of 9 corners.· Saturday will be freeride with racing on Sunday. Only a road this unique would be carved and blasted into the mountain for Olympic gravity sports of Luge, Skeleton and Bobsled. The Olympics are OVER, NOW IT’S OUR TURN !
